Major Product Design Project: Reference List Boards

This post contains the process of making the reference list boards in Photoshop for my product design project; Fruity Mood. I will be using myBib to keep track of my references used.

I opened the template that I made for myself, explained in this post. I then edited the subtitle by clicking it with my 'Text' tool and changed it to 'Reference List'. I used the same tool to make a subtitle with a font size of 30pt using the text options menu at the top. I then made another text box using the same tool and changed the font size to 18pt. The titles in the references need to be in italics, however, the font that I used did not have an italics version. I made the text italic by using CTRL + SHIFT + I, but you can also do this by clicking the 'A' icon to the right. When you click the icon a dialog box opens, when you click on the hamburger menu icon a dropdown menu opens from which you can choose 'faux italics'. This icon did not appear standard in my version of Photoshop, so I had to search the 'Window' menu in the menu at the top. The icon appeared after I selected 'Character' in the dropdown menu.

Since my materials reference list is full and I do not want to downsize the fonts as they would become unreadable, I will be making another board for my reference list.
