Major Product Design Project: Material Board

 This post contains the process of making the material board for my product design project; Fruity Mood. The board will focus mainly on sustainability. 

I started by opening my template board that I made in my specification boards post, after this I changed the subtitle to 'Materials and Sustainability' by clicking the existing text with the 'Text' tool. I then added pictures of the materials and cut out square shapes by using the 'Rectangular Marquee' tool, I aligned them using the grid and the 'Move' tool.

For every square I added a 3px wide border using the 'Stroke' function under 'Edit' on the top menu, so it does not look like the pictures are simply floating on the canvas. I added titles for every materials using the 'Text' tool and changing the font to 'Sylfaen' and size to 24pt, I aligned them using the grid lines. I used the same process for the subtext, except for the font size, which I changed to 18pt.
