Welcome to the third and last term of my time at DMUIC! Last term was quite chaotic to say the least, my time management was not great and I ended up what felt like working backwards. I neglected my blog to be able to finish my project on time. I enjoyed working on my project and learning new skills, however, planning all the different workshops and managing my time including other modules was overwhelming, especially at the beginning of the term. I am hoping that I will be able to find more time to spend on working, instead of worrying about everything that needs doing and losing track. I am aware that this is not always under my control, so I want to try and implement some tools to help me organise my thoughts. This includes making a detailed schedule weekly instead of one weekly schedule for the whole term, I tried this out for my busiest week last term and it helped. I did need help to start this task, so I will have to remind myself to ask for help on time. I believe that time management was the core problem of what went wrong last term, so I would like to find and try new ways of managing my time this term. This includes taking effective breaks! Not just sitting down and staring at the wall for ten minutes, but going outside and taking a walk or kicking a ball around to clear my head of unnecessary thoughts and ridding myself of physical energy.

For this term I would like to focus on one or two skills, instead of many at once. I would like to improve my wire art and I would like to try working with UV resin, I think these skills will work well with the jewellery project for Art Portfolio Two. I will be visiting the jewellery workshop to learn more about jewellery making as well.
I am looking forward to improving my skills and finding a balance between university and life that works for me. Hopefully I will be able to create end results that I am satisfied with!

You could add that you are going to use the DMU jewellery workshop in order to improve your skills and understanding in a discipline which will be essential for this project and your studies on your undergraduate. Otherwise, good post, articulate and thoughtful.
