Project Statement

This post includes my project statement for my major product design project for term two:

 For my AP1 project I will create a tea set with one teapot and five different teacups, including one 3D outcome of one of the teacups. The set will be aimed at people with sensory problems and dyspraxia and will be using the natural textures found in a forest to help with grip in combination with shapes that make the product more comfortable and stable to hold and carry. The project is inspired by different species of fungi that grow in forests and on trees and will be following the primitivism theme. I will draw the designs in Procreate with the necessary technical details such as size and materials. To create the 3D outcome I will be participating in a ceramics workshop. The project will be finished and submitted before the 31st of May in a gallery slideshow on my website.
