UX Testing and Feedback on Website
This post will show the feedback on my Wix website and the UX testing. I made a Google Form containing questions about my website, I embedded this form into the navigation menu. Then I published my website, so people could start giving feedback on it.
Below are the questions and feedback. I will be going through the questions and update my website accordingly. For now I have got six responses on my form.
The answers on the first question show that it is clear what my website is about as soon as it is launched, this was an important part of the task and I can say that it has been achieved.
The second question was about my 'About Me' page. I would like to revisit it myself, however, the feedback is good and shows that the page is complete.
This question shows that there seems to be a problem with the menu, I will have to take a look at it again as it might be difficult to identify the menu.
This question shows that the design is well received.
As expected, there is room for improvement on my term one product design project. I will be implementing what I have learned from this project into my next project.
The overall experience seems to be positive and people may share my website.
All of the responses I have got have used their desktop device to test my website, which means that I will have to do some testing on mobile by myself.
I was advised to put the 'About Me' page before the 'Portfolio' page in the the menu. I went back to my website and changed the order of the menu by dragging my 'About' page up in the 'Pages and Menu' section in the menu on the left. I updated the link in the 'Portfolio' text in the footer to navigate to the portfolio page.
Since there seemed to be problems with finding the menu, I changed the icon to a more well-known menu icon by clicking it and clicking 'Change Basic Shape' and moved it to the top right corner of the website. I deleted the 'Menu' text. After making the changes I published my website again so the changes would appear on my website.

Good you made some changes - you can also think about this over the next term and then update for your next project
