Idea Development: Object

To help with developing ideas for my major product design project for term two I chose an object that spoke to me and wrote down every thought that came up. To get my train of thought going I described the object first, from there I kept adding to anything I could think of. I chose a bronze watering can, because I liked the colour and the way the light reflected off of it.

This exercise has helped me to develop my chosen idea further than I originally did and I found ideas that I could add to the existing ones. This includes materials, such as resin, which I will have to research in addition to the research on what type of clay I should be using for my tea set.
